Nassau Vet Center assists military veterans and their family members with services that are out in the community and VA to help them with transition, healthcare, homelessness, financial issues and much more.

Many military veterans, retirees and active-duty service members are not aware that they are entitled to several benefits.

Learn about these community resources provided for veterans, including food pantries, traffic court, treatment court, DMV (Veteran on license), store/restaurant discounts, peer support groups and other types of referrals for internal and external VA resources.

Presented by Sharran Chambers-Murphy, MSW,CASAC-T, Veteran Outreach Program Specialist at Nassau Vet Center. Sharran is also an Army Veteran (1986-97).

This workshop will be held at the Great Neck Library at 159 Bayview Ave. in Great Neck on Monday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. No registration is required.
