ANNUAL SAAM JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION 

Join the Southampton African American Museum (SAAM) for their annual Juneteenth event celebrating the intersections of art, music and cultural heritage. This year’s theme, “Music Matters,” will be portrayed through presentations by Ingrid Griffith, Joe Lauro and Antoine Hilton and celebrates the enduring role of music in African American history.

SECOND ANNUAL JUNETEENTH JUBILEE WHITE PARTY

LTV’s World Voices and the Eastville Community Historical Society present their second annual Juneteenth Jubilee White Party Awards and Ceremony. Enjoy traditional food and drinks, surprise performances, dancing, local vendors, awards and more.

CARIBBEAN POETRY CELEBRATION

Preservation Long Island and the Caribbean American Poetry Association proudly present a Juneteenth Poetry Celebration in honor of Jupiter Hammon, America’s first published Black poet. Join them at the Joseph Lloyd Manor for an afternoon of poetry, history, food and music with performances from Dr. Lindamichelle Baron, Keisha-Gay Anderson, and Yasmin Morais. Student poets are encouraged to participate in the open-mic session.

JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION

Celebrate unity, peace, and freedom at the Juneteenth Celebration hosted by One Long Island Clergy at Tanner Park. This family-friendly event features live performances, vendors, food trucks, a kids zone, line dancing, basketball tournaments and more.
