The Great Neck Library Board of Trustees meeting will be on Tuesday, Nov. 18 7 p.m. at the main library. The main library is located at 159 Bayview Ave. If an executive session (not open to the public) is needed, it will be held at 6:30 p.m. Refer to the library’s website at greatnecklibrary.org for any changes or updates before coming to the meeting.
This marks the first board meeting since the library’s election on Monday, Oct. 27.
Neal Hakimi was reelected to the Great Neck Library board of trustees seat he has held for the past year. Jackie Hakimian won a vacant seat on the board of trustees, and Michael Hakimian won the expiring seat of Kim Schader on the nominating committee. Those elected will take office at the Library Association Annual Reorganization Meeting in January 2026.
