Manhasset Public Library has closed at 3 p.m. due the inclement weather.
Due to icy road conditions, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced the cancellation of all afternoon activities, practices and lessons at the Nassau County Aquatic Center, Cantiague Park Ice Rink, Christopher Morley Park Ice Rink and Grant Park Ice Rink. The men and women of the Nassau County Department of Public Works continue to treat roadways with salt and sand as to limit the amount of black ice that will form from the drop in temperature.
Community Drive both north and south has been closed at 4:40 p.m. due to icy conditions.
Residents should drive cautiously and stay off roads if possible.
