James T. “Oakie” O’ Connor, of Bethpage, passed away June 12, 2009. U.S. Navy WWII veteran. Past president of C.W.A. Local 1104. Husband of the late Alice C. Father of Thomas (Susan), MaryAlice Morgan (James) and the late James (Donna Jean). Grandfather of James, Michael and Katherine O’Connor, Kelly and Nicole O’ Connor, Michael Morgan and AnneMarie Brown. Great-grandfather of Rosalie and Amalie Brown. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held June 17 at St. Martin of Tours RC Church with interment following at Calverton National Cemetery.
