Obituary: Horace D. Thompson

Horace D. Thompson, of Glenwood Landing, formerly of Locust Valley, passed away on June 26, 2009 at age 84. A WWII Army veteran, he was past commander of American Legion Post 962 Locust Valley and past president of British Veterans of LI. Brother of Marie E. Also survived by several cousins in New England and the U.K. Visiting at the Funeral Home of Dodge-Thomas, Glen Cove. Service at St. John’s of Lattingtown.
