It turned out to be a very nice day for our tournament. We had 43 men there today. There were a total of 57 pars with Dave Malle, Pete Guerra, John Pellegrino and Jim Greene each getting 5. There were 17 golfers under net par and four more at even par.
We had our second round of match play and eight more men bit the dust. Eight are left. We will play again on Thursday, July 30. It is not a usual tournament day but we want to make up a rained-out tournament. It will be a Scramble tournament.

Competition on the nine-hole course is divided into two divisions. Flight A is for players with a handicap of 13 or less. Flight B is for players with a handicap of 14 or more. The league is a 100 percent handicap league. Any man who is 55 years of age is eligible.
