Erin Dougherty Henkel died suddenly on Sept. 27, 2009. Wife of Roy. Mother to Kimberly, Alyssa, Kayla and Rianna. Loving daughter and step-daughter of the late Maureen and the late Thomas Jankiewicz, and the late George and Carole Dougherty. Cherished sister of Brian, Keith, Kara and Jeff Dillon, Maura, Jenny and Nick Zerilli, Cheryl and the late Sean. Fond daughter-in-law of Helmut and Melita Henkel. Sister-in-law of Karen and Peter Faranna. Also survived by six nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at St. Lukes Lutheran Church, Farmingdale. Cremation following at Long Island Crematory. Arrangements entrusted to McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale.
