Obituary – Katie Soltiz

Katie Soltiz died peacefully surrounded by her family at the age of 93 on Sept. 25, 2009. She was born Sept. 24, 1916. Formerly of Westbury, she had been residing recently in Clarence, NY. She was predeceased in 2001 by her husband Frank. She is survived by her son Frank (Brigitte) Soltiz, DDS, and daughter Theresa (Scott) Mercer. Grandmother of Joseph (Jennifer) Sotiz, DDS, Andrew (Kristina) Soltiz and Michael Soltiz. Great-grandmother of Eva and Elle Soltiz. Aunt of Leonard (Mildred) Crisci, NYPD, and the late John (Rafella) Crisci, FDNY. For the past 10 years Katie lived at the Brothers of Mercy Senior Apartments and enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society. Arrangements were made by the Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Entombment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
