Nassau Poet Laureate Gayl Teller and Suffolk County Poet Laureate Tammy Morgan will read their poems as well as other Long Island poets. The reading is one of many local activities in preparation for the World March for Peace and nonviolence, a historic, three month, world wide initiative. Refreshments will be served. The Historical Society of the Massapequas will hold its 26th Annual Harvest Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m .on the grounds of the Massapequas Historical Complex, the Old Grace Church, Merrick Rd. and Cedar Shore Dr., Massapequa.
