Obituary – Edmund L. Kaufold

Edmund L. Kaufold, 81, died on Oct. 7, 2009. A lifelong resident of Farmingdale, he was a member of the East Farmingdale Fire Department for 39 years. He was farmer and proprietor of the Redwood Farm Stand, Route 110, Farmingdale. Husband of Florence (nee Schmitt). Father of Edmund (Shelley), Susan Brandel (Peter), Warren, Richard (Susan), Kenneth (the late Patricia) and James (Lisa). Brother of Charles Kaufold. Predeceased by his sister Eleanor Ward and brother Ernest. Grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of five. Arrangements entrusted to the McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass was held at St. Kilian R.C. Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
