I volunteer at the Farmingdale Adult Day Care one day a week. This past month we had a number of events that were published in the Farmingdale Observer. However, there were a number of people who helped make these events possible who were mentioned. I would like to publicly thank them.
At Eva Venezianos 101st birthday party on Sept. 29, Balloons N More, on Merritts Road, donated the decorations. All the food was donated by McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home and at the Memory Walk and Bake Sale on Oct. 2, sixth graders from La Salle Regional School helped out with the walk. Both Merritts Bakery and D&D Bake Shoppe in So. Farmingdale donated beautiful cakes and cookies for the bake sale.
Without the generous donations from the people in the background, many of these events would not be possible.
