Obituary – Edgar R. Baginski

Edgar R. Baginski of South Jamesport passed away on October 23, 2009 at Southampton Hospital. He was 83 years old. He was born in Manhattan on February 21, 1926 to Paul E. and Hedwig (nee Stiehl) Baginski. On March 21, 1954 he married the former Ursula Eisenblatter in Farmingdale. Together they made their home there until 1987. For 44 years he enjoyed a career as an airline mechanic with Pan American World Airways. Retiring in 1988, he had been a member of the Transport Workers Union. Surviving are his wife, Ursula and two sons, Peter of South Jamesport and Ronald of Howard Beach. The family received friends at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Mattituck. Graveside services were held at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale. The Reverend Francis D. Bonadonna, S.T.S., assistant pastor of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Farmingdale officiated.
