Breakfast with Santa
The St. Dominic Immaculate Heart of Mary Women’s Guild is hosting its Annual Breakfast with Santa from 9 a.m. to noon in the Social Room on Anstice St. This event features pancakes, eggs, sausage breakfast, new toy raffle, photo with Santa, personalized ornaments, raffles, cash tree, 50/50 and more. Christmas in Jazz
Piano concert featuring the very talented Jonathan Schwartzberg hosted by Christ Church at 4 p.m. The concert is free of charge with donations being accepted to benefit Doubleday Babcock Senior Center. Following the performance, the community is invited to a festive reception in the Parish Hall also to benefit DBSC. Tickets are $40 in advance; $45 at the door.

Holiday Luncheon/Fashion Show
Will be held by the Boys & Girls Club of Oyster Bay-East Norwich at The Metropolitan in Glen Cove. Co-chairs Marie Bahnik and Ewa Litke have a festive and entertaining afternoon planned. A donation of $125 per person includes a delicious lunch, followed by a fashion show by Marshs of Huntington, featuring European and American designers, accessories and jewelry. Also featuring a selection of shopping boutiques, where guests are invited to shop amongst a unique line of specialty gifts. Every guest will receive a Christopher Radko ornament compliments of Diane and Ray Knight of K-11 Home Furnishings, Locust Valley. Lecture Series Benefit
Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue announces the first in a series of lectures to benefit horse rescue. This event will take place at Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park, 1395 Planting Fields Rd. The lecture and opportunity for discussion will run from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Green House Classroom. Required minimum donation is $25. The guest speakers are author Monica Randall who will present a slide show entitled “Gatsby’s Long Island” and attorney Melissa Gillespie who will speak on Estate Planning for Your Pets. Owl Prowl Season
These programs begin with a live owl presentation, allowing participants to learn about and get an up-close look at these otherwise secretive hunters of the night. Learn about the Eastern Screech and Great Horned Owls. After the presentation, venture outside to listen for the calls of the owls and attempt to attract these wild creatures closer.
