Marie Nancy White, 73, of Venice, FL, died on March 3, 2010. Born in Brooklyn on March 25, 1936, she came to Venice 10 years ago from Bellerose. She worked as a paralegal for Time Warner in New York and was the mother of four children. Marie volunteered at Venice Regional Medical Center in the Heart to Heart Program, counseling prospective and post-operative heart patients. She was a master at mahjong and she enjoyed golf and reading. Marie was also a big hockey and NASCAR fan. She was also a former president of the Junior Women’s Club of Bellerose.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas P. White of Venice; children, Thomas P. White Jr. of Monroe, CT, Michael White of Allendale, NJ, Susan Young of Fairfax Station, VA, and Robert White of North Bergen, NJ; grandchildren, Katharine, Gregory, Margaret, Jessica, Daniel and Andrew; sister Agnes Stevens of Bellerose; and brother Leon Santoro of Northport.
