Floral Park Ex-Chief Honored for 40 Years of Service

Rescue Company of the Floral Park Fire Department recently honored ex-chief Richard Maickel for his 40 years of service to the community as a member of the Floral Park Fire Department. Ex-chief Maickel has been an innovator and tireless advocate for advanced training in EMS and firematic skills, as well as the use of life-saving equipment. He has served as a Nassau County fire marshal for the last 18 years and has been active in local, regional and state firematic organizations.
