The Farmingdale Xtreme U7 Girls Tournament Team recently won the U7 division at the Plainedge Fathers Day Tournament. The girls finished with a 5-0 record, allowing not one goal against them. They played tough teams from Valley Stream, HBC, POB, New Hyde Park and Plainedge. Going into the last game the Xtreme were tied with Plainedge for first but defeated Plainedge on a penalty kick by Kelysha Petit-Frere with five minutes left in the game to win the tournament. All the girls contributed playing fantastic soccer! Coach Steve Kolodny is proud of all of his players. A special thanks to all the dads who spent their Father’s Day watching their daughters play.
