‘Glow in the Dark’ Mini Golf Night – Saturday, August 7 at 8 p.m.
Come play in the dark, well almost dark. On Saturday, Aug. 7 the miniature golf course will be on the “darkside” with glow in the dark holes and assorted glow necklaces for the participants. The fee is $4 per person and includes a night of Miniature golf, music, and glow necklaces. For more information, call Steve Espey at Community Park 516-483-2525.
Mini Golf Championship Tournament
The Garden City Pool Mini Golf Championship Tournament is being held on Friday, Aug. 13, from 2 to 8 p.m. The fee is $6 per person and includes two rounds of golf.
All members and their guests are invited to join. Sign-ups begin on Monday, Aug. 2. All golfers will play the course two times with each hole assigned a degree of difficulty. Plus some secret holes will be selected for bonus points. Best score of the day will receive a prize and a trophy proclaiming him/her as the 2010 pool champion.
