Ongoing Event

Creative Cups

The life-affirming art/fundraising event of the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program, is returning and people are invited to participate by creating an “art bra” to be auctioned off. Last year’s event brought in over 200 Creative Cups, ordinary bras that were transformed into works of art. They were created by artists, art students, children, breast cancer survivors and their friends and family members. Those wishing to create a bra are encouraged to sign up early, as entrants will be limited to 200. Creative Cups celebrates the lives of those living with breast cancer and those we have lost to this terrible disease. For more information and guidelines, visit http://creativecups.adelphi.edu or call 800-877-8077. The deadline for submission has been extended to Sept. 15.
