The Oyster Bay-East Norwich board of education meets in the Oyster Bay High School library at 8 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Concert
The Oyster Bay Main Street Association will kick off the Labor Day weekend with a live, outdoor, free concert at 7 p.m. on the Homestead Restaurant outdoor patio, 107 South St. (516-624-7410). Reserve a table for dinner or just sit on a lounge and order a drink, while enjoying singing sensation Don Anthony. He will wow the audience with his renditions of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tom Jones and Bobby Darin and conclude with a tribute to Elvis. Immediately following the show, Bliss Studio will present a dance demonstration and informal, complimentary dance instruction, done to some of the same classic singer’s songs. Piano Concert
Praised in The Wall Street Journal as “a most mature and sensitive pianist,” Chinese-born Di Wu’s reputation as an elegant yet exciting musician continues to grow. Wu made her professional debut at 14 with the Beijing Philharmonic, since then she has toured widely in Asia, Europe and the United States. This performance is part of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory 2010 Public Cultural Series. 6 p.m. in the Grace Auditorium, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, One Bungtown Rd., Cold Spring Harbor.
