Obituary – Joseph M. Aversano

Joseph M. Aversano, of Farmingdale, passed away August 1, 2010. Former commissioner of the South Farmingdale Water District and former commissioner of South Farmingdale Fire Department. Employed for more that 50 years at Schmidt Hardware, Inc., and longtime usher at St. Kilian Church. Husband of 48 years to the late Alice, who recently passed away on July 12, 2010. Father of Paul, Pam and Terry. Grandfather of Bree and Joseph. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held August 7 at St. Kilian RC Church with interment following at St. Charles Cemetery. Donations in Joe’s name may be sent to the South Farmingdale Fire Department.
