The Island Trees Boys Varsity Soccer team has gotten off to a strong start to the 2010 season. They are currently 7-1-0 at the midway point of the season. They also have earned a prestigious fourth place ranking in Nassau County.

The team has compiled impressive wins over Lynbrook, Plainedge, East Meadow, Clarke, North Shore, Floral Park and Seaford. The only loss came at the hands of Mineola who is currently ranked #2 in New York State. Top goal scorers are Nic Jorge with seven goals and Andrew Willoughby, JT Famularo, Adonis Martinez, Anthony Leonick all with two goals each. The defense has only given up three goals in eight games. The defense consists of Tyler Walsh, Casey Hastings, Nick Alavanja, Brian Manning and goalkeepers Kyle Schamberger and Alex Reckling. The Bulldogs look forward to a successful second half of the season and playoffs.
