Hundreds of spectators lined Main Street to watch the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Parade on Saturday, Nov. 20. The parade began at Northside Elementary School and traveled down Main Street to the Village Green.
The lively high school kickline and marching band were followed by holiday costumed scouting troops.
Santa Claus rode atop a firetruck, waving to the crowd. The parade goers followed the procession to Village Green to meet Santa and get candy canes, donated by Angela Cowan. Some guests traveled more than an hour to see Santa, saying the Farmingdale Holiday parade has become a tradition for their families.
