Over the Hill Gang Raises Money for Carman Family
It is has been a very special year for Farmingdale’s Over the Hill Gang Softball League. The League celebrated its 35th anniversary and capped the milestone with its most successful fundraising campaign ever.
On Saturday, Dec. 4 OTHG President Jim Reilly presented Jennifer Carman with a $25,000 check for the purchase of a wheelchair accessible van.
Town Supervisor John Venditto, Councilman Anthony Macagnone and Legislator Rose Walker were on hand for the presentation.
OTHG has a proud history of raising money for local charities or individuals in need, but it would not be possible if not for the outpouring of generosity from the Farmingdale community and local businesses. It is a tribute to all involved that so much money could be raised for such a terrific cause.
