More than 200 guests recently attended the 15th Annual Camp Loyaltown Auction at the Swan Club in Glenwood Landing, raising more than $114,000 for the special needs camp located in the Catskills, Hunter, NY.
Camp Loyaltown, is a unique summer camp which welcomes 700 campers with special needs each summer. Camp Loyaltown provides opportunities for fun, growth and the experience of attending a sleep-away camp for children and adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
Most recent renovations include the installation of solar panels to efficiently heat the fully-accessible, therapeutic swimming pool, as well as the construction of an open-air pavilion and horse stables which will house a therapeutic horseback riding program next summer.
