Obituary – Dr. Philip J. Acinapuro

Dr. Philip J. Acinapuro, of North Massapequa, passed away on Feb. 27, 2011. Husband of Ellen. Father of Sue Ellen (David) and Philip R. (Bev). Grandfather of Alison, David, Philip M. and Kara. Brother of Dominic and Marie and the late Rose and Gilda. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a dedicated educator and administrator of the Farmingdale Public Schools for 60 years. He gave selflessly to the Farmingdale community over his lifetime which included Rotary, commissioner of Republic Airport and AARP among many other endeavors. Arrangements entrusted to McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home, Farmingdale. Funeral Mass was held at St. Kilian RC Church. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
