The NCAA tournament is in full swing right now, as day two of the round of 64 reaches its midway point.

After a relatively uneventful day yesterday, minus the shocking upset of Morehead St., today is playing out very similarly.

Of the four games on the books right now, the higher seed has won every game.

Texas, a four seed, escaped by the slightest of margins to thirteen seed Oakland, winning 85-81 in the West bracket.

Michigan came out of the gates and put the pedal to the metal to blow out Tennessee, winning by an impressive 75-45 margin. Another story line in that game was Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl, who may have coached his last game as a Volunteer.

In the third game of the day, Notre Dame took care of business as a two seed and ousted fifteen-seed Akron from the tournament 69-56.

The fourth game of the day pitted George Mason against Villanova in the East region. A battle the whole way, George Mason was able to hold it together long enough to squeak out a 61-57 victory over Nova.
