HBA Mid-Island All Stars Enjoying Continued Success

The HBA 8-year-old Mid-Island All Stars came to play Monday night, Aug. 8 at Central Nassau. Chris Eccher continued his hot hitting; Nicky Diano, Tyler Krom-Power and Douglas Fillipone also contributed to the offensive attack. Nick Kozerski started a five-run rally in the second inning working out a walk and then stealing second. Mike Cuomo came up with the play of the night as he fielded a tough groundball at shortstop and threw to Johnny Blazich who tagged the runner out at third. Super pitching by Jack Fama, who pitched two solid innings, and the flame-throwing Jordan Ramlogan, who struck out the side in the sixth to nail down the 16-10 victory for Hicksville.
