Girls’ Team Wins Roughrider Independence Cup Tournament
The Girls U8 Tournament Team the Farmingdale Xtreme repeated as champions in the Rough Rider Independence Cup Tournament on June 25th. The girls finished with a 3-0 record in their bracket.
In the championship game the Xtreme defeated the North Shore Gems to win the Independence Cup for the second straight year. Once again the girls played outstanding soccer. These girls had an amazing U8 season, playing up in the U9 JSS league this spring, the Xtreme captured first place.
Ending the season as champions in the Commack, Dix Hills and finally Rough Riders tournament. Good luck to the Xtreme girls who are leaving the Farmingdale Soccer club and headed to HBC for the fall travel season.
