Joseph A. Jones, 87, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Hicksville, passed away on Aug. 4, 2011 at the Episcopal Church Home. Born in Brooklyn, he graduated from Brooklyn Technical School and entered the Army during WWII serving in Germany. He was a tool and die maker for his uncle, Albert Jones, eventually retiring from AT&T. He was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
He was preceded in death by Joan Marie Jones and Pauline Lillian Jones and is survived by his son Christopher Jones (Diane) and their sons, Connor and Tyler Jones, all of Redondo Beach, CA.
Arrangements were made by the Pearson Funeral Home, Louisville. Memorial services were conducted at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Louisville. Interment Cove Hill Cemetery, Louisville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 9616 Westport Rd., Louisville, KY 40241.
