Obituary: Kenneth A. Voorhest

Kenneth A. Voorhest, of Syosset, died on Sept. 8, 2011 of Syosset. Husband of the late Frances. Father of Betty Jean (Carl) Cisar and John (Mary) Voorhest. Grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of 12. He was a Syosset Fire Department Benevolent member who also served as its first dispatcher, a job he held for 25 years. Arrangements were made by the Francis P. DeVine Funeral Home, Oyster Bay. Funeral service at the funeral home. Interment to follow Brookville Cemetery.
