Hicksville Patriots Take Down Massapequa Spirit

The U16 Hicksville Girls Patriots Soccer opened their season on the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 at Kevin Kolm Field in Hicksville. The game started with a moment of silence and Hicksville Patriots goalie Bridget Iaboni singing the National Anthem. Bridget’s rendition gave her team the lift that they were looking for and went on and beat the Massapequa Spirit by the score of 4-0. The patriots ran their opponents into the ground with speed, power and fitness. It was a total team effort. Keep it up, girls.
