Vincent S. Furnari, of Bayville, died on Jan. 23, 2012 at age 90. A WWII Army Air Corps veteran, he was a family man and dedicated worker. He worked as a draftsman for many years. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, a member of American Legion Robert H. Spittel Post, a Eucharistic Minister and lecturer at St. Gertrude R.C. Church. Husband of Anna for 67 years. Father of Theresa Sacco (Anthony), Anthony (Elizabeth) and Joanne Gaglione (Robert). Brother of Rose Pizzirusso. Grandfather of five. Great-grandfather of three. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation held at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home. Glen Cove. Mass held at St. Gertrude RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.
