Flying Fish were undefeated for entire year
The Notre Dame CYO swim team captured first place this year in Nassau County Division “B” swimming.
They went undefeated throughout the season and took first place at the championship meet held at Eisenhower Park Aquatic center.
The Flying Fish, as they are called, broke four CYO records that night.
Individual 50-yard breast stroke by Sabrina Mauro. The 12U girls Sheila Krische, Sara Wheeler, Monica Mattei and Cassie Scandalios broke both 100 yard free style and 100 yard medley relay records.
The 17U girls Samantha Wheeler, Theresa Mattei, Ally Schillinger and Sabrina Mauro broke the 200-yard freestyle relay record.
