Obituary: David R. Bluth

David R. Bluth, 83, of Bethpage, passed away on May 20, 2012. Husband of the late Tove. Father of Lisa Nantsis (Christos), Norman (the late Jennifer) and Eric. Grandfather of Alex, Niko, and Benjamin. Predeceased by his brother Allen and sister Sylvia. Survived by his sisters-in-law Shirley Blum and Aase Wig. Founder of an aviation consulting agency which was international in scope. He was a recipient of several military and aviation awards. A generous man, who asked for nothing in return, he greeted everyone with a smile, made deals with a handshake and 100 percent mensch. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Memorial visitation and service was held May 29 at the funeral home. His cremains will be placed at a later date in Long Island National Cemetery.
