Long Island Children Receive Tips For Paying Attention

Focus-it is looking someone in the eye, paying attention, concentration and completing our goals.

Focus is an intricate part of everything we do; it applies to school, listening to our parents, and it is the key it to success. The foundation for character building and success starts at home. The schools and role models that impact your child’s life assist in reinforcing the aspirations that you have for your child’s development and future.

This article is about children who have achieved this goal at a young age. They are in Karatatot® which is a unique program offered by Charles Water Karate & Fitness, located at 122 Hillside Avenue in Williston Park, Karatatot® is a combination of exercise and karate in a format specifically designed for children ages 4½ and up.

In a fun filled and nurturing setting your children learn concentration, discipline, respect, focus as well as an understanding of self defense at his or her own level. The results are improved strength, coordination, and flexibility and the self-confidence and that we all want for our children. These children are learning child safety and stranger training. They are becoming better students at school and better listeners at home.

We believe the time between the ages of 4½ and 6 are the most important years of a child’s development.

Our programs will enhance positive development in a fun and motivating way.  Congratulations to all the Karatatot’s® who received their focus tip.
