Karnays Koo Koos will be leaving Long Island in the coming weeks to battle for a $15,000 first-place prize at the 2012 APA 9-Ball National Team Championship conducted by the American Poolplayers Association (APA).
Karnays Koo Koos will be joining more than 400 other qualified teams from across the country that will be traveling to the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, on Aug. 16, to compete for a national title and a portion of more than a million dollars in guaranteed prize money.
The pool players are members of the APA 9-Ball League and participate in weekly league play at the Poolhouse in Bellmore. Team members include: Robert Bauer, Becky Furst, Charlie Restivo, Rachel Biasi, John Karnay, Darrell Alston, Deborah Johnson and Jason Reddy.
