Rosch Plays In Golf Championships

Andrew Rosch, a senior at Holy Trinity High School, had a very exciting end to his senior year. While at his senior prom, Rosch learned that he qualified for the New York State CHSAA Golf Championships that was held on June 1 at James Baird State Park in Pleasant Valley.

On the day of the championship, Rosch produced a great performance and shot four over par, 71, placing fourth. The top six golfers of the NYS CHSAA Golf Championship then qualified to participate in the New York State Federation Championship at Bethpage State Park—Black Course on June 10.

Rosch has been a member of the Holy Trinity Varsity Golf Team for four years, and has been a member of the Varsity Bowling Team for the past three years. At the 2012 Spring Varsity Sports Award Ceremony he was presented with the Titan Club’s “7 Letter Award,” presented to a student who participates in seven or more varsity sports during their high school career. He was also honored with the Coach’s Award for Boys Golf.

This fall, Rosch will attend the University of Tampa, majoring in pre-med with intentions of playing golf with the school team.
