A woman woke up to find her wallet, money, cell phone and other items swiped from her home while she slept Saturday.
According to police, a 32-year-old woman was asleep at her home on Lowell Street in New Cassel when she heard a noise in her bedroom between 6 and 6:30 a.m. The woman went back to sleep, believing it was her mother. Later that morning when she went to get her wallet and discovered it was missing along with money. A cell phone, X-Box game system and Wii game system were later deemed missing as well. An investigation determined an unknown subject or subjects had entered the residence through an unlocked side window and exited through a side door. There is no further description of the subject or subjects.
