The Rotary Club of Oyster Bay is hosting a local qualifying event for the NFL’s Punt Pass Kick Competition. It is a free competition open to boys and girls aged 6 to 15. The qualifying event will be held at the East Woods School’s Upper Fields on Sunday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m.
All participants will receive the NFL Certificate of Excellence and ribbons will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age category. Winners will advance to compete in the Long Island Sectional, to be held at the Oyster Festival on Oct. 14. Sectional winners will advance to the team finals and compete at Met Life Stadium during a Jets pre-game event.
