Sophie Niforos, formerly of Bayville, died on September 27, 2012 age 88. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of James (Joseph Sheehan) and Maria Conley (David Boswell). Service was held Thursday Sept. 4, at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Resurrection Brookville.
Sophie was the wife of the late George Niforos. Together, they helped to found the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Resurrection. Sophie will be remembered for her kindness, honesty, her love of opera, literature, philanthropy and her great smile. Arrangements by Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home Glen Cove.
