The Women’s Game of U.S. Lacrosse recently named three former student-athletes from the Farmingdale High School Class of 2012, Kaitlin Gaghan, Kimberly Kolodny and Colleen Reynolds, as High School All-Americans.
“We are extremely proud of Kaitlin, Kimberly and Colleen for achieving this outstanding and notable recognition of being named High School All-Americans,” said John Lorentz, Farmingdale School District superintendent. “Their diligent work ethic and dedication in the classroom and on the lacrosse field made them well-deserving candidates of this honor.”
Kolodny and Reynolds were selected as First Team U.S. Lacrosse All-Americans for their exceptional skills and sportsmanship. They currently attend Rutgers and Fairfield, respectively. Gaghan earned herself a U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American award for her outstanding achievements in both her academics and lacrosse and now attends Quinnipiac.
“Kim, Kaitlin and Colleen were team captains and emotional leaders who left an indelible mark on the high school lacrosse program,” said Shari Campbell, Farmingdale High School head girls’ lacrosse coach. “They are well-deserving of being recognized as High School All-Americans.”
