Book encourages readers to put faith in God
Diane (Androvic) Dybus, of Bethpage, has published her first book, Then He Stepped In, 82-pages of examples of God’s intervention in her own life. “Then He Stepped In means exactly what it says; if you allow him to, he will also step into your life as well,” Dybus shared.
Dybus is a teacher and judge for the Suffolk Piano Teachers Federation, the International Concert Alliance and an adjudicator for New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA).
She tells Anton Newspapers that it was not until her fourth pregnancy that she sought guidance from the Bible, having never opened it before. She needed comfort and strength, having a premature delivery and a sad prognosis of her newborn son. Dybus said she asked for God’s healing and claims she witnessed a miracle when she was ultimately able to bring home a healthy baby boy.
It was then that Dybus said she realized, “God is a God of the impossible.”
When Anton Newspapers asked why readers would enjoy this book, Dybus simply said, “Really so they will realize you do not have to be a pastor, a priest, a rabbi or a minister to experience God’s power; all you have to be is a believer.”
Dybus says it was her childhood sweetheart and husband of 53 years, Tony, whom she credits as the inspiration; he encouraged her to keep writing. She said, “He [Tony] always says he is my amen; because we have lived together through every situation.”
She also said, “I love Bethpage and God willing I will not move.” She shares some of her fondest memories of this place she calls home including raising her children, playing the keyboard, and her regular worship in her church on Stewart Avenue in Bethpage. She said, “I had a fantastic healing there [at church] and anyone who needs prayer for any reason will be welcomed.”

Dybus is in the progress of making arrangements with Bethpage Public Library to do a reading for the patrons, and has several book testimonies appearing with Pentecostal Evangel magazine.
