A New York City livery cab driver from Long Island was reportedly shot and killed in Brooklyn early Monday morning.

Carlos Nunez, 37, of Valley Stream, was picking up a fare when he was shot in the face at the corner of Decatur Street and Irving Avenue in Bushwick shortly before 1 a.m. Monday. He then crashed his vehicle into several parked cars.

He was pronounced dead shortly later at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center.

NYPD investigators believe he may have been targeted. Authorities are offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
