The New Hyde Park Farmer’s Market will run until to Nov. 23.
The market will be located in the municipal parking lot on Jericho Turnpike just west of New Hyde Park Road, across from the village hall, on Saturday mornings, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
G&G’s Long Island Farmer’s Market is a partnership of two sisters, Jaime Greci and Lona Graepel. Three years ago, they started the first indoor winter farmers markets on Long Island and have two markets this coming summer.
The demand for farmers markets on Long Island has increased, as people are becoming more health conscious and concerned about where produce is sourced. Live music will be available. This market will be fun for the whole family.
Local vendors include D&J Organic Farm Goodale Farm, The Orchards of Concklin, Gentle Brew Coffee, Imperial Empanadas, The 3 Nuts, Sweet to lick (Vegan Baker), Polka Dot Poundcake Bakery, Josephine’s Feast Orwasher’s Bakery, Bambino’s Ravioli Naturally, Naturally Hand made by Susan and Scone Heads.
