Obituary: Carl J. Lubrano

Carl J. Lubrano, 90, of Farmingdale passed away on Aug. 4 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Served his country in the 3rd Marine Division as a Sergeant in the South Pacific during WW II. Retired after 40 years of service with Dellwood Dairy, Yonkers. Worked 16 years as a sacristan at St. Kilian RC Church (his home away from home). Beloved husband of 68 years to Josephine “Jo”. Loving father of Pat Ward and Father Robert Lubrano. Proud grandfather of Derek Ward and the late Robert Ward. A Funeral mass was celebrated on Aug. 9, at St. Kilian RC Church, followed by interment with military honors at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn. Donations in Carl’s honor may be sent to the Disabled Veterans (Northport Veterans Medical Center, Northport, NY 11768). Arrangements were entrusted to the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc.
