A teenager has been accused of stabbing a man with a screwdriver in his hometown of Great Neck earlier this week.

Nassau County police arrested 19-year-old Gerzon Hernandez and charged him with assault and possession of a dangerous weapon.

Police said the suspect stabbed the 24-year-old victim during an argument in a gazebo at Great Neck Park on Middle Neck Road at 9:30 p.m. Monday.

The victim was treated for his injuries at a local hospital.

Hernandez will be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
