The Cantiague Park Senior Men’s Golf League had its 12th tournament on Oct. 3, with 27 golfers. Six men scored under 40, including a brilliant 35 by Charlie Hong Low overall score Flight A was won by Charlie Hong. Flight B Low sore was won by Jack Prunty with his personal best of 42. Dom Vissicchio also had a personal best of 42, but lost on the tie-breaker. Next tournament will be the last for the season, and the winners will be low flight A&B Low Overall Net.

The Club Champion for 2013 is Charlie Hong (26). Runners up are Dave Malle (20), John Bosco (20), and Bob Evans (19).
The next tournament will be on Thursday, Oct. 17,
Match Play Champion for 2013 is Rudy Pekarek who defeated Mike Guerriero in the final. Runner up match was won by Geoff Tripp who won over Ted Marukawa.
Scramble tournament was won by the team of Bosco-Acerra-Danen-Knudsen with an even par 30.
Competition on the nine-hole course is divided into two divisions. Flight A is for players with a handicap of 13 or lower. Flight B is for players with a handicap of 14 or more. The league is a 100 percent handicap league. Any man 55 years or older is eligible for membership.
