Girls swim team captures championship again
On Saturday, Nov. 9, the Lady Trojans added yet another award to the Garden City High School trophy case by capturing its 15th consecutive Nassau County Championship. In addition, it was announced that 37 high school girls from 30 school districts throughout Nassau County have qualified for the New York State Swimming and Diving Championships. Among the Garden City gals that will competing are Caroline Bonvissuto, Gabby Clarkson, Deidre McGrath, Rose Kelly, Julia Hall, Finola Heaney, Gabriella Meringolo and Caitlin Powderly.
