Albert J. Santaniello passed away in Hollywood, FL, after a brief illness. He was born May 23, 1923, in Port Washington to Salvatore and Ida Santaniello. He was predeceased by his twin sister Eleanor Zofchak and brothers William and Chris.
Albert was born on Davis Road in a house that his father built in 1922. A WWII veteran, he continued to reside in the family home until 2003, when he sold it and moved to Hollywood, FL, to join his brother Chris.
He leaves behind his sister Joan Frappaolo and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
Albert was always proud of his Port Washington heritage. Even after he moved he would return in the summer just to be part of the town he loved.
Burial and arrangements were made by Knowles Funeral Home and Knowles Cemetery. He will be greatly missed by all of his family.
